What is your star rating?

Pacific Beach Resort has earned a 4 star Resort by the “AAA Tourism” board of Australia.

How many floors in your building and how many apartments per floor?

Pacific Beach Resort has 12 floors, and we also have a secure underground carpark. The Reception desk is on the ground floor, while all of our facilities are on level 1. We have 3 units on each floor (2 x 2 bedroom and 1 x 3 bedroom). We also have the capacity to “lock off” a bedroom to cater for a 1brm rate.

What facilities do you have? What size is the pool and is it heated?

Each of the facilities are exclusive for Pacific Beach guests and are privately located on the 1st floor. We have ½ size tennis court, a heated swimming pool (12m long x 5m wide with a depth of 0.9m at shallow end), heated Spa, Swedish Sauna, BBQ area, sundeck and a huge Games room…. all for your enjoyment!

Do you have a secure carpark and how many cars per apartment?

We have an underground secure carpark with 1 carpark per apartment. When an additional carpark is requested we do our best to accommodate, but only if a car space is available.

Is reception open for late arrivals? Can I arrange for late checkouts or early check-ins?

Yes!…..whilst our Office hours are 9am to 5pm Monday to Saturday and 9am to 11.30am Sundays, if you anticipate a late arrival please advise us so that we can make alternative arrangements. If you require late checkouts or an early check-in please contact us and we will try our best to help. Check-outs after mid-day will incur a fee.

Do you handle group bookings (eg: wedding parties), and would a discount rate apply?

We are very experienced with large bookings…and weddings are our speciality! Of course, a discounted rate will apply for multiple accommodation.

Do you have a Tours desk to arrange tours?

Yes!….we have a Tour Desk at reception. If you have any requests our friendly staff will by more than happy to help you. We can book bus transfers, tours, car hire, trips to Fraser Island, Whalewatching etc. (click here to see what tours are available)

Is public transport near-by?

Our local “Sunbus” (a little blue bus) goes past approximately every 15 mins and would take you South to Caloundra or North through to Noosa.

Is there a Restaurant on site?

We do have a very popular Italian Restaurant called Bella Venezia on the ground floor. They have a very extensive dine-in or take-away menu.

Rooms:

What are the room configurations, do the apartments face the ocean and have the ocean views?

We have 1, 2 & 3 brm apartments each has a main bathroom, walk-in robe, ensuite and their own laundry facilities (ie. Dryer & washing machine). The main bedroom consists of a queen bed, with the remaining bedrooms having 2 single beds. All our apartments have magnificent views of the Pacific Ocean. Our Beachfront apartments have full ocean views - 180 degree ocean views from Noosa to the North to and including Mooloolaba Bay and Point Cartwright to the South.

The Oceanview apartments have direct ocean views - ocean views to the front and the Coolum and Noosa coastline to the North.

Are the apartments serviced, and can you arrange for extra linen?

Our apartments have a weekly service (during which your beds are changed and fresh towels provided and bathrooms are cleaned). You can certainly request additional linen or cleans for an extra charge.

Can we arrange for an extra person to stay in the apartment?

Our 2 bedrooms sleep 4 people and the 3 bedrooms sleep 6. At an extra charge of $35 per person per night you may have one extra person in the apartment

Are the apartments fully self-contained and are they all furnished the same?

All our apartments are large fully self contained, though each is individually owned and furnished. Furnishings vary from cane to fabric and to leather and all are very well appointed.

Are your rooms “wheelchair friendly”?

Though we are not officially designated “wheelchair friendly” we have had guests in wheelchairs stay with us on many occasions. We have a portable ramp available on request to allow access out to the balcony with ease, and of course, as the rooms are so large it is very easy for the wheelchair to move around.

Do you have cable TV and do the rooms have DVD, VCR’s?

We have Austar TV available to all units, with 3 movie channels, news, documentary, children and 2 Foxsport channels. Most of our apartments have both a DVD and VCRs.

Do the apartments have direct phone access? What about Internet access and where is the closest Internet café?

All apartments have direct phone access & wireless Internet availability. However, if you didn’t bring along your laptop there is an internet café just outside our reception area

Locality:

How close is the patrolled beach?

We are situated right on the Esplanade overlooking the beautiful Mooloolaba Bay. The patrolled beach is just a short 3 minute walk away.

How far are you from the Surf Club, shops, supermarket, the Wharf and Underwater World?

We are approximately a 7minute walk to The Wharf and Underwater World, you actually pass the Surf Club and shops along the way. We have a Coles Supermarket and chemist is just around the corner. We are centrally located in the heart of Mooloolaba amongst the boutique shops and al-fresco dining restaurants!

Distance from Maroochy airport and Brisbane Airport? Can you arrange for transport to and from the Resort?

Maroochy Airport is just 20 minutes from Mooloolaba. Brisbane Airport is about 1 ½ hours south of us. (Allow extra time during peak traffic times). If you require transport to and from the Airport we can also arrange this for you. Please advise us should you require this transport.

Do we need a car for our stay?

Everything is within walking distance….the Surf Club, the Spit and entrance to the harbour, the Marina and Wharf, the boutique shops and supermarket, and of course the Beach! However, if you find you wish to do a day trip up in the mountains we can arrange a car hire which is dropped off and picked up at our door. There is so many things to do in Mooloolaba that most guests just love to park the car and leave it.
